2010 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show
It was great to meet so many people at the 2010 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show. Whilst we didn't actually have a FreeFlow on display at the show, it was fantastic
that people took the time out from the show to view the FreeFlow 46 that is currently under construction. Here are some of the responses we received:
“Thanks for the look over the construction whilst at the boat show. Progress is everything I had hoped for.” “Can't wait to see vessel in the water and
how she performs.” “There is plenty of room in the saloon to have a large proper foward facing nav/computer station on port foward section. (like the
St Francis 50 only more room)” J.P. Mackay
“The boat is simply AMAZING with so many alternatives / options built in to the terrific design. Having seen the 46’ version, I’m thinking 42’ would be
all I’d need but haven’t got that far in decision making to date.” “For a non-boatie who gets seasick at the picture of a wet lawn, my wife was very impressed
and I think after seeing your boat, (albeit in an unfinished state) and then seeing some boats at the show and getting a feel for what the finished version
might look like, I think part of my battle has been put to bed! – It’s only taken 34 years of marriage to be able to say that!!!!” C.D. Bribie Island
FreeFlow 52 Update
Great news! The tooling for the first of two (2) FreeFlow 52's has commenced construction. Here is a photo of the commencement of the FF52 hull plug.
As we have with the FreeFlow 46, we will continue to update the website with construction photos' as they come to hand, so keep an eye out for that!
FreeFlow 46 Construction Update
Things are buzzing at the FreeFlow 46 factory. The construction is coming along nicely. The hardtop will get test fitted shortly. She is not too far off
painting and most of the internal structure is almost finished. Again, keep an eye on the
photo gallery for the
updated construction photos.
FreeFlow 40 Design Update
The
FreeFlow 40 concept is on the drawing board and we hope to have that available early in the New Year. We have had a lot of enquiry for a boat
in this size range. She is being designed like her bigger sister, the 14m
FreeFlow 46, to fit neatly into a standard sized Marina Berth in this
case a 12m berth. Following her pedigree she also offers more boat for your buck than any 40 footer with the space and pace to rival many larger cats
in a compact and affordable size, whilst retaining the signature Queen size island owners berth and enormous living areas i.e. the saloon measures 3.4m
fore & aft by 5.6m athwartships. The cockpit is similarly well endowed with 3.3m fore & aft allowing ample room for a double helm seat, sun lounge and
cockpit table with seating for 6-8 people.
FreeFlow 8.5 Folding System
We have designed a folding system for the
FreeFlow 8.5 which allows folding in both the water and on the trailer so she can be stored in a standard
mono berth or dry space.
Sanctuary Cove Patrol boats
Next year Sanctuary Cove will have 2 brand new patrol boats on the water. They have commissioned us to design two 6m electric motor displacement catamarans
to replace their existing aluminium and fibreglass half cabins which currently run 90hp Honda outboards. The electric option will provide considerable
fuel savings. Here is one of the renders.
